A Good Example of a Bad Start

Monday, the most important day of the week. Some people would put painstaking effort to make this day right which will ensure that the rest of the week will go well with minimal fuss. The same goes for me, but due to the unpredictability of life things go wrong once in a while you just can't stop blaming yourself for being stupid.
It's the first day of my work week. I slept early and woke up well rested and refreshed. Everything is in order. My breakfast has been prepared before I go to sleep so it only needs to be heated when I wake up. My clothes are all set, I have a complete attire for the days ahead especially for today. I followed my daily work routine that I have been practcing for a long time; wake up, eat up, clean up, dress up, and go. But as the Law of Averages would say, let a complex system repeat itself long enough and eventually something surprising might occur, and yes something surprising did occur.
I am good to go, locked the front door of our house, walked out and then shutted it close behind me. I walked toward our garage gate and found it locked, which has always been for long time everytime before I can completely exit our premise. But nothing prepared me for what happened next. I opened my small bag and put my in my right to reach for my coin purse that holds the keys to unlock the gate. Having been doing this for a long gave me a sense of confidence and certainty that it will be there like it had always been. But to my surprise I did not feel the familiar sensation of my small leather purse filled with coins. I looked down and focused my eyes in the contents of my bag. It took me minutes to realize and accept the truth, but in the end it finally hitted me. I LEFT MY HOUSE KEYS IN THE HOUSE!!!
I was in a state of shock. How in the world could a daily routine like this suddenly go out of control with no way to correct it. The gates are locked in front of me, and the same is true with the house doors behind me. I was like in purgatory, with neither heaven nor hell wanting to take me in. I felt like a dog in a cage of metal bars, with passers-by on the side walk looking at me with wonder as to why am I all dressed up in the garage sitting and waiting for something. I endured twenty minutes of limbo when faith suddenly delivered someone, a tenant who rents a room in our house, with the key to unlock our gate which led to my salvation. It was both a relief and an embarassment when I eplained why I was stuck there and how helpful the assistance was. But during that time the only thing in my mind was getting out and being free again from my temporary entrapment.
So that's it, the first day of my work week ruined. I arrived late at work with a feeling of humiliation and stupidity. And when I get home later I will have to wake up people to be able to get in the house, facing the humiliation of having to tell this story to them. Worst yet, our tenant may have already told the people at home what happened to me and they would be laughing their asses out later when they see me. Either way I don't think this day will end peacefully. I just hope that my week does not end up the same, and that the coming days wont be as restricting as my imprisonment in our garage. We shall see.
I can quote you on that now

I have added a quotation section on the top right portion of my site which will cite some of my favorite quotes that I have heard or read from various sources. I have put in four (4) qoutes for now, enough to test the randomizer I have made to show a different quote everytime the page is visited or refreshed. I plan to add more quotes soon and perhaps a page where all the quotes can be seen, as well as a feature to allow visitors to add quotes that they know. For the meantime I hope that you enjoy this new addtion and find the quotations entertaining if not inspiring.

My website is back and uglier than ever! After its initial launch almost a year ago my home page failed to progress and eventually faded to nothingness, no thanks to my depreressed state during those months. Today I want start anew and start right, redeveloping my web page from the ground up, see it slowly progress to its full glory (or full abomination, whichever works for me). I will not promise any useful content for the next few weeks, for I will focus purely on my page's functionality: data entry, member registration, members comments, and all those nice technical stuff tha turns an ordinary website into a full fledge blog. That way I can filter out those idiots who used my site last time to advertise viagra!!! (It was nice though, my site got a lot of hits per day) Anyways, I hope that you visit my site once in a while and see my website progress. My intentions for this website remain the same as the first time it was launched, to share my experiences to everyone, and my thoughts to a select few. For now, thank you for spending some time reading this nice but mostly useless entry.
